½ñÈÕ³Ô¹Ï Performing Arts Students Shine in ‘buckets’ at The Nexus

½ñÈճԹϒs Year 2 Performing Arts students delivered a powerful performance of buckets by Adam Barnard at The Nexus at the Barnstaple campus. The thought-provoking play, which explores the fleeting nature of time through a series of interconnected scenes, captivated audiences with its mix of humour and heartfelt emotion.

The performance took place on Thursday February 27 2025, drawing an engaged crowd. buckets offered a unique perspective on how individuals confront the reality that time is always running out. With its structure of thirty-three varied scenes, the play created a kaleidoscopic portrayal of life’s poignant moments, resonating deeply with viewers.

The Nexus, ½ñÈճԹϒs dedicated performance space, provided an intimate setting that enhanced the impact of the production. The venue has previously hosted successful student productions, including Dick Whittington and a double feature of The Gut Girls and Lord of the Flies, further showcasing the diverse talents of ½ñÈճԹϒs performing arts students.

The evening was a memorable showcase of the students’ skill and creativity, leaving audiences moved and reflective.
